Christy Davis Jackson, award winning entrepreneur, author, motivational speaker and attorney, has been tapped by Fortune 100 companies, non profit organizations and small businesses alike to develop, manage and execute strategic, leadership and diversity management programs to increase company performance.Ms. Davis Jackson is also a certified contract compliance professional and provides Equal Employment Opportunity contract compliance advice and counsel to union and non- union clients. Ms. Davis Jackson began her entrepreneurial career in 2001, starting the first African American wholly owned public affairs lobbying firm, Davis and Partners LLC. Davis and partner specialized in community development, business development as well as legislative advocacy portfolio. Ms. Davis Jackson has worked for state and federal lawmakers. She began her career after law school as legislative counsel for state senator Wynona Lipman, the first African American woman to serve in the state Senate, then went on to serve as Projects Director and then state Director for US Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ). During her tenure with Sen. Lautenberg she developed an expedited grants system for municipalities, still currently in use in the Senator's office. Ms. Davis Jackson served as Director of Media Relations for Warner Lambert, then the fastest growing pharmaceutical firm in the county. During her tenure with Warner Lambert her media relations team of professionals developed a crisis communications and rapid response protocol for the company. Her most challenging work was to take a virtual unknown, corporate icon, Jon Corzine and make him over as a candidate for public service. Ms. Davis Jackson did just that as the Co-Campaign Manager for both his successful primary and l general election US Senate campaigns. Ms. Davis Jackson also served as the transition director for his US Senate office, thus coming full circle to her roots in the US Senate and government. Ms. Davis Jackson, a Midwesterner by birth, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, NJ.
